Series

Series is a collection of books designed under the theme of banned literature. It has been titled purposefully vaguely in order to erase any preconceived notions associated with the idea of banned books. The three books are wrapped in black cardstock paper with seamless edges, implying that they should not be opened. Included in the book collection are the Perks of Being A Wallower by Stephen Chbosky, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, and The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison.

The typesetting inside the books includes redacted lines every few pages throughout all three books. These redacted bars are frequent interruptions that serves to consistently remind the reader that there was a motive behind these books being censored.

Every detail in these books has been carefully crafted to encompass the idea that these books are banned.
